Abstract

This chapter discusses the factors that influence the academic success of a school child. The assumption on the part of the child, family, kindergarten, teacher and elementary school is discussed in this chapter.

The author mentions the problems in learnig caused f.e.by specific learning disorders and problems in the student group. Attention is also paid to how homework and cooperation child-family-school can affect the success of a first grader.
