Abstract
The article is devoted to history of the Czech reception of French regionalist novels (such as Jean Giono, Charles F. Ramuz, and Henri Pourrat) between 1925 and 1938.
Some Czech writers made efforts to imitated French novels, mainly Karel Hadrbolec, Antonín Procházka, Bohumil Novák and František V. Kříž.
