Postponements of school attendance are determined by age and gender

Abstract

Interpretation of results of the survey carried out by the Faculty of education of the Charles University in Prague that studied the transition from nursery school to compulsory education. Topics studied: preparedness of preschoolers for school education - school readiness, causes of the postponement of school attendance according to gender and age, motivation of parents for school choice.
