Clinical and epidemiological significance analysis of laboratory data with the data source I-COP

Abstract

Colorectal cancer (KRCA) in the Czech Republic is the value of incidence of 80 cases per 100,000 inhabitants one of the highest frequencies in Europe. Prediction incidence KRCA (ICD-10: C18-C20) for 2014 shows 8743 new cases KRCA prevalence and prediction for 2014 shows 59,401 patients with KRCA.

Screening for colorectal cancer from January 2014 becomes a screening population, which is organized by the screening KRCA Czech Gastroenterological Society of JEP and the Commission for colorectal cancer screening Ministry of Health, in collaboration with health insurance companies. The two-stage screening KRCA for persons over 50 years of age includes basic screening test for occult blood in the stool immunochemical FOBT test.

In the General University Hospital in Prague, we set FOBT test an automated analyzer OC-Sensor, a Japanese manufacturer Eiken. In the period 2008 - 2013 were examined 14,495 samples quantitative method OC-Sensor.

The purpose of this communication is a clinical and epidemiological significance analysis of laboratory data from the laboratory information system VFN - OpenLIMS Stapro with the data source I-COP and evaluation aspect quantitative analysis of hemoglobin in stool during screening KRCA
