Abstract
Early postoperative period is for adaptation ostomy patients very challenging. Ostomy patients reconvalescence takes several weeks to months, and is also associated with medical therapy.
Due to the healing of the surgical wound, ostomy and other factors are also evolving ostomy patients needs. Selection of ostomy appliance always need to adapt to these different needs.
The aim is to ensure the safe evacuation, comfort and skin health. A reliable fixation of stoma appliances is reflected in the psychological state of the patient
