Strnadová, M. Hošťalkova provides a comprehensive overview of medication in hospitals.
The topic deals mainly (but not only) from the view of nurses. It focuses mainly on forms indication of medicinal products, if any, or in what cases they can legally accept an incomplete indication of medication, or even without any indication, both in terms of current practice and Czech legislation.
Special attention is paid to the administration of medicines in residential social service providers. Although the issue of nurses' administration of medicines in terms of quality and safety of health care provided very serious, it was not with us yet received the attention it deserved.
This publication fills the gap and offers suggestions for appropriate adjustments to legislation.
