Abstract
The develepoment of new radical surgical operations connected with oncosurgical operations by solving following congenital face defects and defects of craniomaxillofacial traumatology are connected with necessity of replacing lost tissues afteroperations defects. In this article are presented today experiences with the production of synthetic face-implants made by RPT (rapid prototyping technology), with the substitution temporomandibular joints and the lower jaw and with the substitution face defects by ectoprothesis (epithesis).
For succesful production is necessary the cooperation between a lot of medical and nonmedical disciplines f.e. surgerons, technics, biomecanics, dentists-stomatoprotetics, teeth-technics as well as cooperations with the patiens.
