Abstract
The review analyzes texts written by Heidegger during the Second World War; it focuses on the relation of these texts to Heidegger's earlier works and pays special attention to the concepts of freedom, individuality, nation and society. In view of earlier texts, these terms seems to undergo a considerable transformation in their meanning during Heidegger's thought in the late thirties and early forties.
