Use of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging and comparison with other modern imaging methods in the preoperative diagnosis of prostate cancer

Abstract

Magnetic resonance (MR) has long been considered a promising imaging method to assess the localization and local staging of prostate cancer (CP). The aim of this study is to present modern multiparametic MR and other imaging modalities that could lead to improvement in detection and localization of CP.
