olycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most likely common disease of women of childbearing age and inspires almost 60 years gynecologists and endocrinologists for intensive research. Research, diagnosis and treatment of PCOS deal not only with a number of institutions abroad, but also in our country.
The monograph was based on the cooperation of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, 1st Faculty of Medicine and General Teaching Hospital in Prague and the Research Institute of endocrinological. Cooperation of three editors created in recent years a number of priority publications with international acclaim.
Results of studies together with the recommendations of leading international experts in the field of PCOS were the basis for writing this book. The theme of this monograph is current and provides new information from basic and clinical research that have practical implications for clinical practice.
