Abstract
The article is a longer review on a novella written by the Finnish writer Mika Waltari, named in Finnish Koiranheisipuu (The Tree of Dreams). The novella was published in 2013 in Czech in Markéta Hejkalová's translation by the Hejkal publishers.
The review deals in detail with the issue of the autobiographicity of the work.
