Flowers of the Neighbourhood: The Prague florilegia as mediators between languages and cultures

Abstrakt

The paper illustrated the role of translation at the Age of Enlightenent and the Czech National Revival. There were analysed florilegia Joseph Wenzig's (1807-1876) - collections of contemporary Czech literature in German translation.
