Obesity in young children: risk factors and prevention

Abstract

Obesity prevention already in youn children could help to reverse the epidemic of childhood obesity and reduce the incidence of obesity in adulthood. The article describes the factors that affect weight, weight gain and the amount of body fat in young children and actions that may contribute to the prevention of obesity.
