Determination of Methylviolet 2B Using Polarographic and Voltammetric Methods at Mercury Electrodes

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2014

Abstract

DC tast polarography and differential pulse polarography at a dropping mercury electrode and DC voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and adsorptive stripping differential pulse voltammetry (AdSDPV) at a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) were used for determination of methylviolet 2B (MV) in Britton-Robinson buffer pH 4.0. The lowest limit of quantification of MV, LQ = 13 nmol LMINUS SIGN 1, was obtained using AdSDPV at HMDE.
