Abstract
Thyreotoxicosis is a serious endocrinological disease. Antithyroid drugs are used for the treatment, but the agranulocytosis is one of the most serious complication of this kind of approach.
Although this complication is rare it can be very serious. This article deals with different approaches to treatment of thyrotoxicosis.
Authors point out the possibility to choosing radioiodine 131 I as a final and useful solution which should be used more often.
