Abstract
In the park lining the circular class Na Sadech in the South Bohemian Ceske Budejovice, the visitor can see a simple memorial, evoking ancient stele, which sculptor František Bílek created in memory of his friend, Ceske Budejovice native poet, writer and notary Otakar Mokrý. In a typical implementation of Bilek's work we can recognize perhaps Erato, a muse of lyric poetry remembering the dead poet.
The buyer was national association Budivoj from Ceske Budejovice and the memorial was installed in 1919 by the 20th anniversary of the poet's death.
