Abstract

The poster deals with the crisis of Italian state at the end of 1960s and beginning of the 1970s, especially with its most radical expressions. It analyses the activities of several extremely Left-wing organizations (i.e.

Red Brigades, Workers' Power, Groups of the Partisan Action) which rose from the student protests of 1968, it examines their ideology, violent and non-violent methods of their functionning and predispositions for transition to terrorism. It also deals with the international conctacts od these groups, with their position within the European New Left and the impact of foreign (especially French and German) groups on the events in Italy.
