Abstract
The article presents a summary of information about non-invasive method of neuromodulation rTMS-repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, which gradually getting to algeziological indication. The most common painful conditions which are indicated for stimulation in the Czech Republic are atypical orofacial pain, secondary trigeminal neuralgia, thalamic pain, fibromyalgia or deafferentation pain.This is more of an overview from the perspective of pathophysiology of this method, its use in other medical fields, and mentioned here the basic methodology of rTMS.
We present also short information about non-invasive and simple neurostimulation technique tDCS (transcranial direct current stimulation).
