Voltammetric Determination of Benzophenone-3 at Boron-Doped Diamond Electrode

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2014

Abstract

Voltammetric behaviour of benzophenone-3 was investigated in anodic region using cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry at boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes. Optimum conditions for the determinations of studied analyte were estimated based on the influence of pH on the voltammograms in Britton-Robinson buffer, and composition of basic electrolyte.

Linear calibration dependence was obtained in the range of 1 - 100 μmol dm-3. Further, the enhancement of voltammetric signal of benzophenone-3 in the presence of cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide was investigated.
