Abstract
The contribution submits basic information on a structure of educational process, methods and forms of education used by nurses while educating patients. The aim of this research was to analyse the level of provided education on various departments of Motol University hospital and to sum up further nurse expectation for improvement of patient and family members education.
From analysis of respondent structured interviews inter alia resulted a need of lifelong learning for nurses in a field of education and improving the quality of nurse-doctor cooperation.
