Jan Erik Vold's poetic project has always been evolving at the boundaries to another arts - esp. visual and performance arte. The poetic composition blikket (1966) was an permutation of a poem from authors first collection of poetry.
This can be understood as a deconstructing of the late modernist poetics as presented in his début. Simultaneously, it was a constructive basis for the composition of blikket and furthermore the general innovation in Vold's work. blikket shows a similar process based aesthetics as his second experimental composition, tall (not published, 1965 - 67), that has been up til now a part of writers archive.
The comparsion of the acoustic (2009) and textual realisation of blikket displays a special tension between the mathematical structure and the way this formal model of relations is stimulated and at the same time transgressed by meanings, that is the structure developing.
