Abstract
Using a simple and graceful sentence, the area of the complex plane in which lie all eigenvalues of a matrix can be obtained by easy arithmetic operations. This localization of eigenvalues is a unique opportunity to connect knowledge of linear algebra, arithmetic and geometry in education for gifted high school students.
