Abstract
The concepts of place, time and rhythm are in monograph analyzed as functions of the transcendence. The transcendence itself is seen in historical and cultural context which shapes its modalities.
In this perspective the transcendence takes three historically determined forms. The last part of the monograph is devoted to the transcendence which is related to telecommunication networks and is characterized by rhythmic synchronization.
