Case in corporate governance failure: privatization of large enterprises in Czech Republic

Abstract

Czech privatization of large enterprises (so-called large privatization) can be considered a both theoretically and practically interesting case in corporate governance failure. Whilst formal, de iure privatization in the Czech Republic could have been regarded as moderately successful, the same does not apply to its economic results.
