Chapters about Slovene "Moderna" : Author, text, context, communication

Abstract

The topics of the book is Slovene "moderna": Slovene modernism in the beginning of 20th Century. We analyse the context: Slovene - Czech, Croat and Austrian relationships, Slovene literary society of this time, the reception of the first books.

In the second part of the book we have analyze literary works: their influences and special problems. We analyse the literary work of Ivan Cankar, Zofka Kveder, Oton Župančič, Lili Novy and the others.
