Abstract
The potential role of ultrasound examination of the abdominal aorta is thus in preventive medicine in the detection aneurysm in an asymptomatic patient in emergency medicine and in diagnosing aortic aneurysm with symptomatic patient (back pain, hip, abdomen, lower limb ischaemia) and to confirm the presence of aortic enlargement and hemoperitoneum / retroperitoneal hematoma with suspected rupture of the aneurysm.
