Crime recommitment through the prism of selected surveys on Czech habitual offenders carried out in the past fifty years

Abstract

Habitual offenders, regradless of the time and space, are considered the "hard core" among offenders, mainly because they are apparently resistant to repeated endeavours to include them in "non-criminal" life. This article is dedicated to comparing the findings of selected surveys of offenders carried out in the past approximately fifty years in the Czech Republic.
