Abstract

In this study were repeatedly measured the basic growth and motor indicators of preschool children after 33 years. There were measured 2097 children in age 3 to 6.

In motor test were measured basic motor skils: 20 m run, standing broad jump and ball throwing by right and left hand. These resultes monitor a trend of continuous physical growth and worse motor performances than in 1977.

These differences depence on place of residence - best performances achieved children from the largest city Prague. This resultes are in connection with living area, level of parent's education, social aspects, condition for movement activities and range of activities.
