Abstract
The article presents a rhymed receipt about the philosopher's stone which is a part of an alchemist's manuscript from the first half of the 16th century. The article reflecting the history of alchemy at the end of the Middle and at the beginning of the New Ages deals with the characteristics of the manucript from the textological point of view, especially with its structure and aspects of its syntax.
Finally the analysis includes the lexis concerning the alchemy.
