Abstract
The comprehensive publication contains all the important lessons - prevention, screening, diagnosis and modern methods of monitoring the condition of the woman and fetus during pregnancy and childbirth. It analyzes care for pregnant women, physiological and pathological pregnancy, treatment of associated diseases, newborn care, and surgery is included.
The book does not neglect the issue of legislation and does not avoid ethical issues. Two-color publication is complemented by more than 500 pictures and 100 tables.
The book represents the best traditions of Czech - Prague obstetric school.
