Soul as a Place of the World-coming-into-being. A Study of Aristotle's Conception of the Soul

Publication |
2014

Abstract

The monograph is an interpretation of selected passages of Aristotle's De Anima II and III. It starts with a short introduction of his cosmological and biological views and goes on to his conception of the soul and key notions connected with it (eidos, entelecheia, energeia, kinésis).

The core of the book concentrates on the topic of intellect (nous) and the question how a man participates in it.
