The role of PET/CT with 18F-fluorocholine in hyperparathyroidism - preliminary results in 15 patients
Abstrakt
AIM: Prove the utility of 18F-fluorocholine (FCH) PET/CT examination in the localisation of hyper productive parathyroid tissue.SUMMARY: FCH PET/CT examination seems to be very promising tool for localisation of hyper productive parathyroid tissue even in cases when classical MIBI scan is negative. Contrast of lesions probably depends from severity of hyperparathyroidism.
