Abstract
Development of prestheses is complex, interdisciplinary, longlasting and very expensive matter. Nowadays it is the only posibility of improvement of visual functions in blind patients due to retinal diseases that are connected with loss of photoreceptors in whom it is not possible to use gene therapy and/or neuroprotective substances.
