Dissemination of the Modern Polish National Consciousness among the Peasants of Galicia

Abstract

The article deals with the starting position of the Polish (Roman Catholic) paesants in Galicia, their economic position and with the process of awakening of their consciousness that they are Poles, due to the education, labour emigration and activities of the Polish People's Party (PSL).
