Abstract
The paper introduces Feuerstein's concept of cultural handicap ( deprivation). Feuerstein's understanding of peoples's difficulties to adopt to differenct cultural conditions is rooted in his theory of structual cognitive modifialbility.
The papre presents a key aspects of this concept. The paper also explains and amplifies a difference between cultural difference and cultura handicap.
