Abstract
The book (i) maps the most important connections and affinities between traditional realist aristotelian-scholastic theory of cognition and analytical epistemology; (ii) attempts to vindicate the traditional conception in certain crucial respects; (iii) offer such an explication of certain problems of epistemology that would pave the way to the traditional conception.
