Abstract

The chapter reflects an understanding of the evolution of Czech ruralist literature at the moment of socio-economic radical change expressed by the swing of the Czechoslovak political pendulum to the left after the Second World War. It makes the reader understand the reasons for the loss of intellectual attractiveness of ruralist agrarism in the first decades of the 20th century.
