Necessary defense - a concept full of tension between individual and public interests: is the current enactment an optimal one?

Abstract

The author deals with the historical development of the institute of self-defense. The legislative developments can be observed that the effort to expand the limits of necessary defense.

The author considers the current Czech legislation necessary defense for quite satisfactory.
