Disabled by Normality: Disability Art (Re)Imagines Differences

Abstract

This essays takes a commentary on the art exhibition Disabled by Normality (DOX, Prague, 2013) and its conception as a starting point for a broader discussion of the role of disability art (or Crip art) for pedagogy and broadening public discourses around alterity, difference, and their recognition.
