Information Behaviour of Students and Employees of First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague

Abstract

Qantitative research, which was done at the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague in 2014, April - June, was looking for individual parts of information behaviour of its students and employees, in some cases of employees of General University in Prague. Respondents, who filled out an electronic survey, answered questions about getting specialized information, using electronic information resources and social media.

The survey also gave answers about their information literacy and experience with their own retrieval. Finally, the respondents gave feedback which new electronic information resources they need in the faculty library.
