Abstract

Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is defined as the backflow of urine from the bladder to ureter or up into the kidney. The disease is known more than a hundred years.

Diagnostic options have been improved significantly and new knowledge has changed therapy, which is currently much more conservative.
