Abstract
The paper informs about the 15th jubilee conference of the Commission on Word-Formation, International Slavistic Committee which was held on 11 - 16 May in Wittenberg, Germany. The topic of the conference was "Slavic Word-formation in comparison: theoretical and pragmatic aspects".
More than forty papers and subsequent discussions concentrated on a broad spectrum of important issues, topics and perspectives of word-formation in individual Slavic languages, from the comparative point of view and in general perspectives. The report points out some of main topics discussed and presented during the conference.
