Advances and Challenges in Optical Molecular Spectroscopy Including Surface Plasmon Resonance-Based Methods for Bioanalysis

Abstract

Principles, analytical aspects and recent challenges in optical molecular spectroscopy are reviewed. In addition to the well established methods of molecular spectroscopy including the chiroptical methods, the recently emerged or established methods, particularly those based on plasmon resonances, such as SERS and SERRS, SEIRA, SPR and surface enhanced luminescence, are in the focus of interest.
