Abstract

The article provides an example of how a sacred space appears to have been designed to suit its specific cultic needs or, more specifically, how the decorative scheme applied to its walls came into being as a result of the transmission and (re)interpretation of cultic concepts in the course of First Millennium BC Egypt.
