Ceramics from the Ramesside enclosure

Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2014

Abstract

The ceramic material was recovered from the trenches inside, along and immediately adjacent to the Ramesside enclosure. The repertoire is dominated by late New Kingdom and especially Third Intermediate Period forms, complemented by some later material, which reflects the ongoing occupation of this part of Kom Firin.

While considerable in quantity, the pottery was almost entirely fragmentary.
