Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2014

Abstract

Although the archaeological excavations of a cluster of shaft tombs in the Late period necropolis at Abusir are far from being complete, this paper presented in detail recently unearthed Greek imports as evidence for fairly close Graeco-Egyptian relations during the end the Saite Dynasty, i.e. from the middle of the 6th century BCE to the Persian occupation of Egypt in 525 BCE.
