The article presents a biography, philosophical work and resistance activity of the Czech philosopher, historian and publicist Josef Fischer (April 2, 1891 Kolín/Kolin, Bohemia - February 19, 1945 Brandenburg - Görden, Germany). The monograph includes the biographies and scientific contributions of 46 scholars of Jewish origin from Bohemia and Moravia, who became victims of the Nazi regime in 1938/39-45.
