Abstract
The paper is a contribution to a discussion on Savile's paper 'On Judgements of Taste and the Source of Their General Validity'. Savile's position is identified within analytic Kantianism, more specifically, within the debates on the objectivity of aesthetic judgements.
Savile is presented as a mild revisionist. His position is compared to that of Andrew Moore.
