Abstract

The purpose of study is to describe the role of the National qualification framework (NQF) in the doctoral study program in Kinanthropology. It is based on the general form of the National descriptors (ND), as expected outcomes of this highest level of the education area.

ND constitutes the profile of the doctoral study program in Kinanthropology. Their purpose does not consist in specifications, standardizations of curricula only; it also gives the general instructions, how to create and specify its learning outcomes.

Among the other benefits of the ND belong the links between the qualification framework and the assurance of its quality. The NQF also enables a comparison of the Czech qualifications with the study program in other European countries.

In doctoral study of Kinanthropology, the aim focuses on creation of a general overview in its learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) as well as on the basic relationships between these issues. The knowledge, skills, and competences should apply the general ND to its structure.

In detail it will be discussed in this paper. The opinions of experts in academic areas, the internal assessment of students as well as the abroad experiences should play a major role in improving the quality of doctoral programs in Kinanthropology as well.
