Dependencies vs. Coordination from the Point of View of Analysis by Reduction

Abstract

The article focuses on the identification of interesting phenomena in the syntactically annotated corpus (Prague Dependency Treebank) using a method of Analysis by Reduction. Investigated phenomena are enriched with coordination and apposition.

The study supports and motivated formal modeling of natural languages.
